Petra Financial Technologies
Petra is an international fintech conglomerate of retail, transportation and B2B funding companies. Their B2B funding transactions are based on revenue factoring on three different continents. Over a period of five years, the Private Equity owners of Petra had acquired over 20 brands with similar needs related to risk, sales, marketing, and reporting.
Operationally, the acquisition of brands resulted in a proliferation of processes, reporting, procedures and tools making it difficult create efficiency and consistency across regions. Petra’s goal, working with Tria Prima was to create a Center of Excellence Operating Model that would allow them to centralize CRM and marketing support activities, eliminate a large portion of regionally managed costs, and create consistency in processes, reporting and tools.
Tria Prima designed a Center of Excellence business model that saved the PFTs global brands $4 million annually versus the cost of having regionally owned and operated expertise. Over two months Tria Prima interviewed representatives from 8 brands, 5 countries and 3 continents to understand operations, regional sales approaches, product differences, and current capabilities of their teams.

After data and information gathering, Tria Prima developed three primary tools that later would define
how the centralized services could to support sales and marketing globally
The Operating Model provides a strategic blueprint that supports the regional teams needs from each continent
while also providing for local support and flexibility for each region to meet their goals without relying on the
centralized structure.
Through Salesforce, we developed a support model that leveraged Tria Prima's Salesforce expertise while the PFT team continued to mature in their skill sets to take on more work over time.
By starting out with an objective measurement of the capabilities that exist in each region we were able to document where progress could easily be made and allow the Petra team to plan for their own skill growth over time.
